"Why you said so?", Pancake asked.
"To begin with, you weren't even aware that the lunch many months ago was purposely arranged for you and my brother", G continued.
Pancake squinted her eyes, and asked, "But your brother didn't say much. He spent one hour telling me his busy life and his big business."
G thought for a while and said, "You've misunderstood him."
Pancake wished that sometimes she can be more discreet in her speech, but there is no room in Pancakeism to permit compromise in relationship. I admit I am stubborn, and particularly stubborn w.r.t. relationship.
Pancake apologised to G, "I will call and thank your brother for the lunch. I am sorry. I have found someone."
G interrupted with a disbelief tone, "Can't be! Who is he??"
Pancake smiled, "He just hasn't found me yet."

Hmm, so what takes 'him' so long to reach you?
Aiyo, I think he's still taking mrt instead of bullet train. Haha.
HaHa ... Ms Pancake is always Ms Know-All, but this time I would say, may be (1) he has changed his travelling plan; (2) he hasn't bought the ticket; (3) he is unsure he should take MRT or bullet train, (4) he is taking a detour or (5) he has never wanted the trip anyway.
